Excursion of IBF

The excursion of the IBF is part of the lecture "Neuere Entwicklungen in der Umformtechnik" and takes place annually during the Pentecost week. In order to gain a comprehensive insight into the application areas of products manufactured by forming technology, around 30 to 40 participants visit large and well-known companies from the sector, such as Airbus, Aurubis, Claas, Georgsmarienhütte, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Meyer Werft, Schuler or Wieland.
