Flexible Sheet Metal Processing Center - EiMa

  

The flexible sheet metal processing center at IBF is a custom-made machine built in cooperation with EiMa Maschinenbau GmbH. It provides a multitude of potential applications such as incremental sheet forming, short ISF, stretch forming and a combination of both. The application of a laser to support ISF also enables the forming of materials that are difficult to form at room temperature. In addition, workpieces can be pre- and post-processed by incremental flanging, incremental hole flanging, milling, laser cutting and by local heat treatment with a laser. Possible services include the production of prototypes or small batches of customized parts.
