The servo-hydraulic testing machine TMTS (Thermo-Mechanical Treatment Simulator) is one of 11 systems worldwide from Servotest Testing Systems Ltd. for performing complex material characterization tests. At the IBF, the machine is primarily used for flow curve determination in upsetting tests. Cylindrical specimens, Rastegaev specimens and stacked layer specimens can be used.
